The project invested by Nanshan District of Shenzhen about video surveillance data wireless transmission, aims to solve the problem of lack of fiber resources in the array camera installation environment. Jaguar Wave’s mmWave technology makes it easy to transmit surveillance data wirelessly to fiber resources site 500 meters away.
The wireless transmission bandwidth requirement of array camera video data is above 1Gbps, the long-distance, high-bandwidth, and low-latency features of Jaguar Wave’s mmWave device can fully meet these demands.
One Jaguar Wave’s mmWave device JW-PTP6151, is installed next to the camera and connected to the camera through a switch. Another JW-PTP6151 is installed in Shenzhen Bay Sports Center where 500m far away, connected to the customer's optical fiber resources site. The two devices establish a wireless connection, providing 1.8Gbps wireless transmission bandwidth for the array camera.
The surveillance data is transmitted to the customer data center in real time with low latency.
The distance between the two mmWave devices is 500m, and the wireless transmission rate is stable at more than 1.8Gbps.
The mmWave device is small and light, and can be easily installed on poles or walls.
The large bandwidth of mmWave has the ability to carry a fast, stable and long-distance transmission of HD video, which is not easily interfered by other wireless frequency bands and can provide long-term stable transmission. mmWave device is small, light and easy to install, It can greatly reduce municipal engineering, save costs, and provide a cost-effective solution for situations that lack of fiber resources.
