In order to strengthen the safety management of the community, the Taoyuan community in Nanshan District, Shenzhen has installed cameras on each building to form a full-view monitoring network. Jaguar Wave installed hundreds of mmWave wireless devices in Taoyuan community to build a wireless network used in transmitting monitoring videos more flexible and convenient.
Challenge
All the monitoring videos need to be transmitted to the computer room of Fangda Building, considering the traditional wired networks system has great difficulties in wiring and maintenance, so the wireless network is urgently needed, and can meet the needs of high bandwidth used in transmitting large amounts of HD monitoring videos rapid and stable at the same time.
Solution
There are totally 105 regularly arranged residential buildings in Taoyuan community, so the mmWave devices and cameras can be installed at the same height. We divided the community into five areas, each building in each area is installed with two mmWave devices and a four-port switch for constructing the wireless networking. Building 60 is selected as the convergence point, connected with Fangda Building through mmWave devices. And finally pooling the network of the 5 area into Building 60 to realize the whole areas wireless network interworking.
Results
The wireless transmission of millimeter waves brings convenience to the network construction in a complex environment, greatly reduces the need for a wired network cabling.
The way of partition-locally summary-summary is used in this time, which can prevent the whole network problems causing by any equipment failure.
The mmWave network system can provide broadband higher than 1Gbps to meet the needs of long -term stable transmission of monitoring videos.
The mmWave device adopts 60GHz frequency which is not interfered by other wireless bands, that makes the wireless transmission more safety.
With the improvement of people's awareness of security, the video monitoring system has been an absolutely necessary part of community security management. The high bandwidth of millimeter waves can carry a stable remote transmission of HD videos, and the network isolation formed by the unique frequency band ensures the security of data, that provides a cost-effective solution for the construction of monitoring video private network.
