Extended reality (XR) is the fusion technology of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR). XR technology has been widely used in games, live broadcast, intelligent manufacturing, education and etc. The technology breaking the boundary between virtual and real, promoting the innovation of human-computer interaction, and bring people a more real experience.
Creating the immersive experience in XR need an extremely strict network transmission for support, as we known, the common civil communication bands such as 4G, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi 6 are quite crowded, it is difficult to meet the transmission demand at present. Due to the rich spectrum resources, wider bandwidth and ultra-low latency, mmWave is a great choice that can match the transmission needs well.
Constructing mmWave wireless network through mmWave devices can satisfy network transmission of XR. Our mmWave devices include AP and Station, which AP can be installed on wall or ceiling and Station connects terminals through Type-C. The AP supports 6 to 8 Stations access stable, and can also provide high-speed and low latency wireless network when terminals are moving at 4m/s.
In this scene, the AP is installed on ceiling with height of about 2.5m, and the Station is about 1.9m above ground. The range of signal receiving is a circle with the radius of 10m which center on the AP.
In this scene, the AP is installed on wall with height of about 2m, and the Station is about 1.9m above ground. The range of signal receiving is a rectangle with 20m long and 10m wide which center on the AP.
